Fall STEM

Students love STEM activities! To them, this is a time they get out of their desks, use their creativity, and often work with others. Teachers secretly know students are also thinking critically, working on problem-solving skills, and learning to collaborate. So, incorporating fall STEM activities into lessons is a must-do! Best of all, STEM activities help students stay focused as their minds are thinking about Thanksgiving food and Christmas decorations! 

Seasonal STEM & Partner Plays 

This activity pack is the perfect way to combine STEM activities and reading skills! 

There are 4 Partner Plays with 2 characters plus the narrator and 6 STEM challenges. Each story focuses on fall themes, such as Thanksgiving. As students read the story, they will learn about a challenge. This is a great way to make each STEM activity purposeful and authentic. After learning about the challenge, students will work on the STEM activity to see if they can solve it. There is even a STEM workbook for students to use as they create their solutions. This helps teach students about brainstorming, testing, making improvements, and analyzing final products.
